Start with lukewarm water (100-110°F),

Mix it with cane sugar,

and active dry yeast.

How to make incredible homemade naan:

Mix flour, salt and baking powder.

and stir with a fork until it's shaggy.

Add in the frothy activated yeast mixture and oil,

Once you can no longer stir the dough with a fork, transfer to work surface and knead for 5 minutes.

Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl,

and let it rest in a warm place for 90 minutes.

Roll each naan out thinly,

And pat the backside with water.

add cilantro for more flavor,

Add naan to a hot cast iron skillet until bubbles form,

flip and steam for 30 seconds.

Grate garlic and mix it with vegan butter,

Melt it in the microwave and brush it atop your hot naan.

To finish, make the garlic butter.
