Get started by prepping your garlic, ginger, and green chiles.
Sauté ginger, garlic, and chiles for two minutes, stirring frequently.
Add cumin, coriander, chili powder, curry powder, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 30-60 seconds, until fragrant, stirring frequently.
Simmer for 20 minutes, covered, until lentils have softened.
Cook for five additional minutes.
To finish, add cilantro and lemon juice.
Serve over rice with warm naan bread.
