Sweet Potato &  Pinto Bean Chili

Add olive oil and onions to a dutch oven. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add in:

jalapeño peppers

tomato paste

Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, and paprika.

Pour in the vegetable broth.

Add the cocoa powder.

Add the chipotle pepper.

Add in:

bay leaf

 salt + black pepper

pinto beans

sweet potatoes

tomatoes

Stir well. Maintain a rapid simmer for 30 minutes.

Stir in:

 lime juice

masa harina

Serve and enjoy!
