Ingredients

Hi, I'm Nisha

Today, we're making vegan banana bread.

Mash three bananas with a fork.

Make the "buttermilk":  lemon juice + oat milk

Aquafaba, the liquid from a can of chickpeas, is a great egg substitute.

Mix the brown sugar with sunflower oil.

whipped aquafaba

Mix in the wet ingredients:

mashed bananas

vegan buttermilk

all purpose flour

Add the dry ingredients:

sea salt

baking soda

cinnamon

Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet using a spatula.

Don't over mix or you'll get a dry and dense banana bread!

Pour batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

Optional but recommended:

Add sliced banana and brown sugar on top.

Then, bake for 50 min at 350° fahrenheit.

After baking, let cool down. Then dig in!
