While the tofu is pressing, stir the marinade ingredients together.
Transfer the tofu cubes to a large zip-top bag. Pour in the marinade and toss to coat.
Marinate the tofu. Seal the bag and leave it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. Once the marination is over, add the arrowroot powder to the bag with the tofu and marinade.
