Vegan Holiday Gift Guide 2019

The Vegan Instant Pot Cookbook

I couldn’t really compile a holiday gift guide and NOT include my own cookbook, right? The Vegan Instant Pot Cookbook is particularly an excellent gift for the holidays because the Instant Pot is one of the most common holiday gifts, as well as a hot ticket item during holiday sales! So, everyone with an Instant Pot is going to be looking for an Instant Pot cookbook.

The book is packed with over 90 wholesome yet comforting recipes that don’t skimp on flavor. Plus there are useful cook time charts and a robust introduction section on how to master the Instant Pot!

  • Buy for: Anyone who loves using their Instant Pot, busy parents and professionals, vegans or vegetarians or anyone interested in eating less meat, and those who want to use their Instant Pot but are intimidated by it

  • Price: $14.99 on Amazon

The Vegetarian Flavor Bible

This is my favorite cookbook (besides my own, obvi) but it doesn’t have any recipes. It contains an exhaustive list of every vegetarian whole food you can imagine, and will teach you how to pair ingredients and how to enhance the flavors of plant-based cooking.

  • Buy for: the creative chef, anyone who is interested in expanding their culinary skills, and those who prefer to cook without a recipe

  • Price: $26.50 on Amazon

Love and Lemons Every Day

This cookbook exceptional, and I don’t dole out that compliment that lightly. I’ve loved author Jeanine Donofrio’s recipes for years, and this book is no exception. It also includes charts and graphics that are both beautiful to look at as well as very functional and useful!

  • Buy for: anyone interested in incorporating more vegetables into their life in a fun, easy, and delicious way.

  • Price: $16.99 on Amazon (a total steal)

Whole Food Cooking Every Day

I fell in love with Amy Chaplin’s first cookbook, At Home in the Whole Food Kitchen, a few years ago, as it taught me so much about healthy plant-based cooking. Her new cookbook is equally wonderful, but in a different way. Each chapter presents a basic recipe (e.g., Gluten-Free Breads or Simple and Healing Soups) with several variations on how to change up the recipe.

  • Buy for: those who follow (or want to follow) a wholesome, nourishing plant-based diet

  • Price: $19.87 on Amazon

Instant Pot Ultra

One of Instant Pot’s latest models that’s worth the bells and whistles. It’s a 10-in-1 “smart” pressure cooker has the features of the previous Instant Pot models, along with highly customized programming, an LCD display that tracks your progress, and a central dial for added precision.

The Most Accurate Measuring Cup

You would think that all measuring cups are made equally, but alas, they are not!
