Update: I just relaunched my Meal Plans service! Start your 7-day free trial here!
Over the past few years, I’ve been on a mission to figure out what your biggest cooking challenges are.
I’ve pored over surveys, polls, and your heartfelt messages to uncover the biggest obstacles holding you back from being the home cook you want to be.
And guess what? It turns out your biggest challenge isn’t following a recipe.
It’s all of the other stuff that goes into getting a delicious meal on the table:
- Sifting through a sea of food blogs, YouTube videos, cookbooks, and Pinterest pages to decide what to cook during the week;
- Crafting an organized shopping list that prevents those aimless grocery store wanderings and impulse purchases;
- Figuring out what you can prep in advance to prevent your weekday evenings from becoming a stressful cooking marathon;
- Actually sticking to your cooking plan so you don’t default to takeout or frozen pizzas.
Who has the time (and energy) for all that?
The solution you’ve been waiting for
That’s why I am thrilled to introduce the brand new Meal Plans by Rainbow Plant Life website.
Designed for busy people who value both flavor and eating a wholesome, plant-rich diet, this tool eliminates all the friction points that make home cooking a chore rather than a joy.
Instead of juggling tabs, losing track of recipes, or rewriting grocery lists every week, you finally have one home where everything lives, works together, and actually makes your life easier.
All the planning done for you
When you log into our new website, you won’t be staring at a blank calendar wondering where to start.
Instead, you’ll find thoughtfully curated weekly meal plans, each one carefully designed with real life in mind. These plans balance ease, nutrition, flavor, and variety, so you can simply follow along and know you’re set for the week.
You’ll see options like:
- Seasonal menus built around fresh produce and plant-based staples
- Easy Weeknight Meal Plans for busy schedules
- High Protein Meal Plans to fuel your active lifestyle
Just pick a plan, and you immediately have a roadmap for the week.
A meal plan that adapts to your real life
No two households cook the same, so why should your meal plan be one-size-fits-all?
With Meal Plans 2.0, you can easily adjust serving sizes, swap recipes in and out, and choose meals that fit your tastes, dietary preferences, and schedule. Whether you’re feeding one person or a family of six, the plan scales with you.
And if you want to build out a whole week of delicious meals, you can now add standalone recipes to your meal plan, including our new exclusive breakfast recipes.
A grocery list that builds itself
No more typing out ingredients or scribbling half-legible notes. As you build or edit your weekly menu, your grocery list updates instantly.
You can remove items you already have on hand, add extra things you need, and walk into the store with a clear, organized list so you get in, get out, and actually stick to your budget.
A smarter way to prep ahead
Each week’s plan highlights what to make in advance so weeknights stay calm and manageable. A little bit of thoughtfully designed prep sets you up for nights that feel smoother, less chaotic, and even fun.
Use it wherever you cook, shop, or plan
Whether you’re planning on your laptop, cooking with a tablet on the counter, checking your grocery list on your phone, or printing everything out, Meal Plans by Rainbow Plant Life goes wherever you do.

Everything in these meal plans is crafted to make your life easier and more delicious, and to even save you money.
How do I get started?
The site is now live! To try it out free for seven days, sign up here.
How is this different from your past meal plans?
We previously offered Rainbow Plant Life Meal Plans as a PDF subscription, and it was a massive hit. Thousands of readers told me it helped them stay organized, eat better, and finally feel confident about dinner time. People loved having a plan to follow, clear grocery lists, and reliable recipes all in one place.

Now, Meal Plans 2.0 takes everything you loved and makes it even better.
Instead of static PDFs, you have a dynamic website where you can plan out your entire week.
The website features 65+ curated meal plans with new plans added every month, flexible customization, automatic grocery lists, and easier access anywhere you cook.
A quick note of reassurance
Just because I’m offering this new service, it doesn’t mean the Rainbow Plant Life you know and love is going anywhere. I’ll continue to share free recipes through my blog posts and YouTube videos.
And thank you for being a vital part of the Rainbow Plant Life community. I can’t wait for you to experience the future of hassle-free, delicious, and wholesome vegan cooking.

Can’t say how impressed/obsessed I’ve been with your book! Content is incredibly descriptive and invaluable information prevails. Perctly organized as well! I’ve been a fan of yours for several years. Also have been a long time NYT subscriber and follow the recipe content. I am SO HAPPY that you are now a contributor! Keep on doing what you do because YOU can make America healthy again!Sincerest thanks for sharing your journey.
Aw, we appreciate the amazing words, Wendy! I just know this comment will bring a smile to Nisha’s face when she reads it. Thank you so much for being a part of the RPL community 🙂
I love your videos. And your book. My sister too! I’m trying to go vegan but concerned with getting enough protein. In spite of my hesitation with eating tofu, I think I may be able to overcome it with your recipes!
Love you will still be making YouTube videos.
Thanks for all of your support, Elizabeth! I’ll pass your sweet message along to Nisha, I’m sure she’ll be honored to hear it. We hope you love the meal planning service! 🙂
Hi! I’ve been enjoying the PDF meal plans in 2025 and just clicked the link to “sign up here” for the new website. I was taken to a page to sign up for the waitlist, which I did. But it sounds like the website is already live? I would love some help in getting signed up.
I also just wanted to make sure that I won’t continue to be charged for the PDFs as it sounds like that has been phased out.
Thank you! I can’t wait to check out the website!
Hi Annie, so sorry for the late reply here! It looks like you figured out how to get signed up, but please feel free to email us at mealplans@rainbowplantlife.com with any meal plans related questions in the future! We monitor that email inbox daily 🙂
Hi Nisha!
I just signed up yesterday and received an email saying I’m on the waitlist. Not sure what the next steps are, since you mentioned the launch has already happened. A bit confused here. I’d greatly appreciate your response on what to look forward to next. Thank you for all your recipes and how much hard work has gone into creating this!
Hi Lakshmi, sorry for missing this message until now! I’ve gone into our system and applied the coupon code for early subscribers to your subscription. If you have any questions, check out our help center (https://help.rainbowplantlife.com/) or shoot us an email (email address listed at our help center).
How much it is after the free trial?
Hi! You can find information about pricing on the subscriptions tab of our landing page: https://rainbowplantlife.com/mealplans/
Will it integrate with already established grocery lists? There are plenty of things that won’t fit on this meal plan (my son’s meal bars, toilet paper, tortilla chips, etc) and I love using AnyList for grocery lists already as it syncs across all our devices amongst the adults, as well as with Siri for quick adds.
We’ve made it very easy to copy the grocery list from within the meal plans site and paste it anywhere (your notes app, google docs, AnyList, etc) because we know a lot of people would find it useful.
Additionally, you can also modify the grocery list within the meal plans site to add other grocery items (like energy bars) or household goods (like toilet paper).
Definitely make sure to try both options out during your trial and shoot us an email with your questions or feedback!
I am so ready for this meal plan? Did you mention a start date. I may have missed it.
When a new week comes out will the previous weeks menus disappear or will it be there for use in another week?
Hi Donna — the site goes live tomorrow, January 1!
As to your other question, you get to control your schedule with the meal plans. So if you’re not ready to switch to another meal plan, you can keep cooking from whichever plan you’ve currently selected.
I can not find out how much this costs. There is no information anywhere, I can only sign up without knowing what this will cost me
Hi Elijo, you can find information about pricing on the subscriptions tab of our landing page: https://rainbowplantlife.com/mealplans/
So far I love the meal plan! The recipes are well thought through, easy to make and incredibly delicious. And I love that I get to try new recipes each week.
There is one area that could do with improvement though: the portion sizes. Most of the time the recipes are only enough for three meals, not four. Also on several occasions sauces I prepared were not enough, so I had to make some more whilst cooking the dishes, which was a bit stressful.
If this coud be improved, everything would be perfect!
Hi Thea,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. This new service is in its infancy, and we are always looking for ways that we can improve it going forward.
We have noted down your feedback and will definitely discuss it internally as we meet to improve the product. We hope you are still able to enjoy the meal plans. If you have any other feedback or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to mealplans@rainbowplantlife.com.
Good morning! We signed up for your meal plan subscription and made all three meals and the salad for week one. All of the meals were ah-mazing, loved by kids and adults alike (and we’re not vegan or even vegetarian). Your dishes are just so bright and full of flavor Just wondering when the week two plan will come out? We’re ready:)
Hi Ashlei, I am so happy to hear that you and the fam loved the meals and that you’re excited about the service.
To clarify things, you’re still in your 7-day trial period. During the trial, we send the first meal plan right away because we want to make sure you have a full week to use it. After the trial ends, you’ll start to receive a new meal plan every Thursday at 10 am Eastern Time.
I’m sooo excited for this meal plan!!!!!
When is it going to go live?
We are excited for you! January 1st!! If you are on the waitlist, you’ll be getting an email with sign-up instructions tomorrow (Dec 12/31)!
I tried to sign up for the wait list, but got an error. Can you help?
Hi Danielle, I just signed you up again. Check your email in the next 10 mins or so and let us know if you received anything?
Your new Meal Plans sound amazing and from following you for some time I know I will love the food. Before signing up I will have to work through a personal problem. Since living alone again, I eat what I please when I please and know that if I buy and do a meal prep, at the end of the week, there is a lot of food left over. For instance on Wednesday night, instead of what is prepped I have a craving for grilled tomatoes on toast. I sometimes don’t eat well, having breakfast for dinner or even dessert as main! If you know how to help me, please do.
This is the solution that I have been looking for 4 years, but I’m not an avid cook and am truly lacking in variety and whole food choices. I can’t wait to give your meal plans a go!
We can’t wait for you to try them either, Renee! 🙂
This cannot come soon enough for me. I am really looking forward to not having to figure this stuff out every week. 🙂 Everything I have made from your cookbook and blog/YouTube has been amazing- always 5 stars!
Thanks for the lovely review, Krista! We cannot wait to share these with you!
I’ve led a vegan lifestyle for 8 years, feeling more peaceful than I ever have. But the one thing that has always kept me from total contentment is cooking. I comb through recipes and they all sound sooooo delicious but complicated and time consuming. I really want to eat more than PB&J sandwiches and garbanzo bean soups. But now it looks like your Meal Plans by Rainbow Plant Life is going to come to my rescue and be the answer to my procrastination (and the peanut butter stuck to the roof of my mouth. ; )
Your plans sound wonderful. You must be thrilled and overworked at the same time. So much energy goes into a new venture, especially yours, as your dedication to presenting factual, well researched presentations are so evident.
Hi Nisha,
I just discovered your channel. I’ve been vegan for 5.5 years now. My problem is I hate cooking and I’m not very good at it. I’ve no idea what flavours go with what, and I get completely overwhelmed when I try to do better in my food choices. I need and want to eat better. I want to be healthier and find enjoyment in cooking. Your meal plan sounds like just what I need. I’ve become spoilt by batch cooking where now I only need to spend 3 minutes heating preprepared meals but I don’t nly have about 3 go to recipes ( and they’re incredibly basic lol). Looking forward to hearing more about the plan.
Hi Julie, we’re so excited to share these meal plans with you! They will take a bit more time than it sounds like you’re used to cooking, but you’ll get so much more flavor and variety!
Oh gawsh Julie, thanks for your honesty. I had to re-read because it almost looked as if it were me writing these words! 😅 I feel exactly the same as you! But, don’t give up! Thanks to Kaitlin, we are not a lost cause; I guess it may just take us a little longer to catch up but we’re only competing with ourselves 🙏🏽😃💕.
You are definitely not a lost cause, Lore! We promise these meal plans are easily digestible and make cooking fun, without requiring you to spend all of your free time in the kitchen!
Hi, Nisha – thank you for doing good in the world. A friend of Vegans years ago, I used to peel mountains of shallots for some curried extravaganza & my smiling Vegan friend would say to me, as a Carnivore, “You just haven’t had your moment of enlightenment yet”
Perhaps, your meal plans will help my path!
Hi Nel, thank you for the kind comment! We’re so happy to provide vegan recipes to all 🙂 And we definitely hope you have the chance to try out these meal plans and they make a positive difference in your life!
Woohoo! I’ve been excited about this since I saw the YouTube video last month. I can’t wait for this to go live so I can finally purchase it!
We are just as excited as you for the meal plans to be released, Olivia! Thanks for the kind words 🙂
