The Basics
Position Title: Social Media Manager
Job Overview: We’re looking for an amazing individual who will lead social media for Rainbow Plant Life across various platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok.
Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: This position can be 100% remote, but if you’re local to San Diego, let us know!
Compensation: Dependent on qualifications of applicant
Start Date: July 2021
Responsibilities
- Perform research on trends, best practices, and growth strategies across platforms
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Manage and update content calendar across platforms
- Set and meet growth objectives across platforms
- Generate, edit, schedule, publish and share engaging Rainbow Plant Life content
- Draft captions for content across platforms
- Synthesize analytics and make actionable recommendations on a monthly basis
- Liaise with third-party contractors to ensure content is delivered timely and accurately
Qualifications
You are:
- Experienced in managing social media accounts for brands or influencers
- A self-starter who’s proactive and loves generating new ideas
- Extremely organized
- Process oriented (e.g., you love coming up with new systems and improving old ones to get the work done)
- A wiz when it comes to crafting snappy copy (those captions won’t write themselves!)
- Bonus: familiar with vegan cooking
