Rainbow Plant Life is on a mission to help people cook irresistible vegan food with confidence. Our recipes are meticulously developed and tested, packed with bold flavors, and made to turn even skeptics into plant-based believers.
We’re looking for a part-time staff writer to help us tell better food stories, keep our blog fresh, and engage our community. We plan to start this position off on a part-time basis (about 10 hours per week) with room to grow in the future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing new blog posts that make plant-based cooking exciting and accessible
- Refreshing old blog posts so they’re even more useful and engaging
- Crafting emails that connect with our audience in a fun, conversational way
- Pitching in on other content as needed—think PDF guides, landing pages, or social media captions
What We’re Looking For
- A strong, adaptable writer who can match our brand voice (Hint: check out our website & YouTube channel!)
- A self-starter who can work independently (we’re not micromanagers!)
- Some familiarity with vegan cooking—you don’t have to be an expert, but knowing your tofu from your tempeh is a plus
- A willingness to learn SEO (no experience required, we’ll show you the ropes!)
- Someone with some overlap in Pacific Time for easier collaboration (this is a remote role)
Compensation:
- Based on experience (sorry sorry, I know this is annoying, but our applicants typically come with a very wide range of experience).
