Looking forward to making several of these recipes! The only question I have is, what brand(s) of good quality olive oil do you use and recommend? Thanks!
We are so excited for you to try them as well, Tami! Our favorites are California Olive Ranch, Terra Delyssa Organic and ZOE! They all have a good price to quality ratio. Enjoy!
Hi!
I know, this is developped to be cooked in the instant pot, but I don’t have one. What would I need to change to cook this in a regular pot? I know how to throw together a soup but maybe liquids or ratios change? HmThabks for your help!
Hi Monika, we used to have a stovetop version for this recipe but when we tested it last, it stuck to the pot a lot and wasn’t a great user experience for us.
However, if you’d still like to make it, follow the instructions using a large saucepan or Dutch oven on your stovetop through step 4. Add an extra cup of liquid (broth or water). Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to maintain a simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until the orzo is tender. Once the orzo is tender, stir in the finishing ingredients (e.g., sundried tomatoes, capers, etc.)
Hi Kerri, it’s definitely possible but we wouldn’t personally recommend it. White beans or chickpeas have a much milder flavor which lend well to to the rest of the dish.
Tis the season for cozy soups! Nisha has the best line up, and such a great variety to choose from. After you work your way through her soups, check out her curries too!

I rarely leave comments, but OH, MY! This was amazing! SO full of flavor. It will go on repeat this winter.
Hi Gigi, which soup did you make? We’re so happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for the awesome review!
Is is possible to use black beans in the pumpkin soup?

Yum! Your white bean and pasta stew is my favorite thing ever (the miso is not optional in my opinion!). Anyone who hasn’t made it yet needs to!
Thank you for sharing that, Lydia! Great to hear the soup is a favorite!
This came at the perfect time! I have been on a soup kick lately. Can’t wait to try the Vegan Italian White Bean and Pasta Stew.
